IB Course Companion: Chemistry ReviewTo start, this is a book designed for the IB student who is taking IB Chemistry (SL/HL). This book contains both SL material and HL material. This is a plus since students taking HL Chemistry need to know SL material as well. I took SL chemistry because my school did not offer HL Chemistry. For anyone who is not interested in going into a chemistry related field this is what you want. There are mistakes in the book (typos in text mostly). This on top of the fact that the book merely glimpses over material never really explaining it earns this book a 4 star rating. However, this book set out to accompany the IB student not to supplant a real IB text or teacher. It did, though, help me tremendously on the IB Exam. If you are an IB student like me, then you might want to go further into the field of chemistry. If this is indeed the case, then I would suggest getting the "Pearson Baccalaureate Standard Level Chemistry" text. This is an actually textbook and is far superior to the course companion in explainations and pratice questions. Overall though, the course companion is a must have for any student taking IB Chemistry. It is quick and to the point. It includes the options as well.IB Course Companion: Chemistry Overview
