Kaplan OAT, 2009-2010 Edition (Kaplan OAT) ReviewIt was great in helping me review specific topics on the OAT. A lot of topics that were in the book were on the test, BUT keep in mind that some of the topics on the test were NOT in the book. It's important to get practice from other sources also. (I would recommend OAT practice test directly from their website--though there are some errors in the answers there, search answers here: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/forumdisplay.php?f=129 AND using Kaplan OAT demo: http://www.kaptest.com/Optometry/Opt...miss_test.html It says "buy it" but it's free! just need to register).
ALSO for the book, there were a lot of errors. Not just a few, but one in (I think I can safely say) almost every science section. Seriously, the pi or sigma sign was an arrow instead. Mostly not a problem, but if you had NO idea what the question was talking about, you'd probably would have to look up the actual answer elsewhere (like..from an actual science text). Maybe it was just my copy...
