Environmental Hydrology, Second Edition ReviewI purchased this book to use in Dr. Wards hydrology class and was a bit disappointed with it. This was due to the misleading questions at the end of the chapters that lacked in text data to answer the questions. The most sever of these were in chapter 9 in which you were supplied with charts/tables from agricultural data to calculate the sediment budget of housing development, construction, and forested environments (Q. 9.4, 9.6). Also tables cited in text pointed to wrong information or did not exist at all (Chapt9, Pg. 263, 9.5.4). I gave this book a 2 star because i spent hours of additional time working out problems that could not be answered with the data contained in the book, I also had to explain to the teaching assistant that they were doing the problems wrong because they were using data not applicable to the problems being calculated. (funny thing is i got some bonus points to keep my mouth shut because they told the rest of the students the wrong way to do the problem)Environmental Hydrology, Second Edition Overview
