Exploring Engineering, Second Edition: An Introduction to Engineering and Design ReviewI am a college student, and this book is required. This is in large part a technical book. As such, one of the most important aspects of a technical book are the examples and problems in the book. In short, they are horrible! They are overly complex, and the format in which the examples are written is hard to follow. It's very frustrating because the material covered is not difficult. I had a problem with one example in the first chapter so I took it to the math lab. The tutor, who has a masters in physics, didn't understand the problem, and told me that perhaps it was a book error. I am finding more and more problems are of similar nature. I am only on chapter 4, but I am finding this to be one of the worst textbooks I have ever read.
