I was looking for a little more information on how to work with raster; the book is mostly vector oriented. But pretty good book anyway - provides plenty of exercises with relevant datasets. You should know the basic layout of ArcGIS and how to do basic maps. However, the first section of the book assumes that the reader does not know much more than that; this can be tedious for anyone with a more that a beginners background.GIS Tutorial II: Spatial Analysis Workbook Overview
